Miss Maria Tebbutt – Studio 43 is owned and operated by Miss Maria, a pillar to the Bonnyville dance community since 2006. She has ran successful studios for more than 20 years, and has dedicated her career to providing quality instruction for students. Her professionalism, friendly disposition and welcoming attitude embrace both dancers and their families into her dance school. She was one of the first Albertans to be certified as a teacher for Al Gilbert Tap and is a fully qualified instructor for the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. She has travelled across the world, doing training workshops in Montreal, New York and even Russia. Her students have gone on to dance and teach professionally across Canada and the world.

Finding the balance between raising a family and the dance world has been challenging. When the dance space she had been running her studio in announced it would no longer be available, the answer presented itself to make both worlds coexist. A brand new, professional dance studio in her own front yard.

Boasting two full sized dance studios with professionally sprung dance floors complete with mirrors, barres, as well as a student/parent lounge, and student change rooms, Studio 43 is the fruition of a dream. Dancers are welcomed like family the moment they walk into the lobby, but feel like professionals the moment they dance in the studio.

Miss Maria has always believed that being in a small town doesn’t have to mean sacrificing quality, and she continues to share her passion and love of dance with the families of Bonnyville and the surrounding area, while raising her family in this wonderful community.
